Can You Imagine The Reception After The Goat -Man Wedding ~ Story Idea by Jethro

Can You Imagine The Reception – Story Idea by Jethro

In February of 2006, a BBC story ran concerning an unusual wedding. According to the story, a Sudanese man (Mr. Tombe) was allegedly forced to marry a goat after the goat's owner (Mr. Alifi) supposedly reported to the Counsel that Tombe had sex with his goat. As the story goes, in the infinite wisdom of the Counsel, the King Solomon like Counsel ordered Mr. Tombe to marry the goat and pay a dowry of 15,000 Sudanese dinars (approximately $50) to Mr. Alifi.

So how did this all come about? According to the BBC, Mr. Alifi told the Juba Post Newspaper that he heard a loud noise around midnight. Alifi rushed out to supposedly find Mr. Tombe with his goat. When asked what he was doing, the suspect allegedly fell off the back of the goat. According to Alifi, "They said I should not take him to the police, but rather let him pay a dowry for my goat because he used it as his wife."

Does the goat have no say in this, ponders Jethro?

I hear this goat was very frisky. Are you sure she didn't "ask for it" by wearing provocative clothing?

Wow is this a coincidence.
Two rednecks are out hunting. As they are walking along, they come upon a huge hole in the ground.

The first hunter says, "Wow, thats some hole! I can't even see the bottom.... wonder how deep it is?"

The second hunter says, "Let's throw this old truck transmission down and listen for how long it takes to hit bottom."

So they pick it up and throw it into the hole. As they are standing there listening, they hear a rustling in the brush and then see a goat come crashing through the brush; run up to the hole; and with no hesitation jump in head first.

While they are standing there trying to figure out why the goat jumped, an old farmer walks up. "Say there," says the farmer, "you fellers didn't happen to see my wife around here did you?"

The first hunter says, "No, but we saw a goat came running out of the bushes doing about a hundred miles an hour.... and jumped headfirst into this hole!"

And the old farmer said " Why that's impossible! I had my wife chained to an old truck transmission!"
