Ex-Florida State Quarterback, Jameis Winston Needs to Dodge More Than Defensive Linemen? ~by Legal Pub

Bill Cosby knows about law suits at a ripe old age.  LINK.  Young Jameis Winston apparently has learned at a much younger age.  The former quarterback's University, Florida State University, is apparently settling a lawsuit with a woman who claims she was raped by former star quarterback.   John Thrasher, FSU President, told the press that the university would pay Erica Kinsman $250,000 and her attorney another $700,000!  Now that is effective negotiating by Plaintiff's counsel.  FSU nor Winston have admitted guilt; however, in the interest of saving legal fees, the FSU settled the claim against the university.   A separate suit remains pending against Jameis Winston who is now a quarterback with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Winston denies liability.  During his tenure at FSU, the university allegedly cleared Winston of the allegations.
Criminal charges were not pursed by the prosecutor because of alleged gaps in Ms. Kinsman's story.

El Chapo Should Be Called El Ego ~by Legal Pub

A super huge ego often is the Achilles heal of top villains. El Chapo appears to be no exception.  Guzman Loera now awaits probable extradition from Mexico to the United States where he will face charges of drug trafficking. Mexican Attorney General will likely support extradition. El Chapo has been on the run since he escaped for the second time in July. During the six months that El Chapo has been a fugitive, he has done an interview from Rolling Stones and consulted with Sean Penn concerning a possible movie deal. Rolling Stone

El Chapo has bragged that he "supplies more heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana than anybody else in the world."  One must wonder at trial how large of a poster a prosecutor would use displaying this quote! Guzman Loera even sent Sean Penn a video tape with followup information for his possible movie deal. Police and the military continued to hunt Guzman down as he continued to court a biographical movie.
Video shows drug kingpin 'El Chapo' in custody
A critical flaw in Guzman's hiding was his use of cell phone and emails.  One would suspect that dope dealers would know better.

A look inside the 'El Chapo' escape tunnel
Guzman now returns to the same jail that he escaped from in July. Should we expect a repeat performance?

Pitbulls Kill 9 Year-Old Boy ~by Legal Pub

After repeated Pit Bull attacks, why do people trust these animals?  U.S. fatal pit bull attacks have surpassed 260 since 1998; the last year the CDC studied fatal dog attack data by breed. In the last 8-year period of the CDC study (1991 to 1998), pit bulls averaged nearly 3 deaths per year. From 2007 to 2014, the most recent 8-year period, pit bulls averaged 21 deaths per year, a 600% increase.
"Don't make this about Pit Bulls", Legal Pub was warned.  Despite the warning, Pitt Bull owners are still faced with trying to answer the question, why do these dogs continue to be trusted as pets?
Alexandria Griffin-Heady left her 9-year old half brother alone in her trailer home with her three pit bulls.  Alexandria went to work, when she returned her brother 9-year-old Tyler Trammell-Huston had been mauled."I failed him, whether it's my fault, my dogs' fault, whoever's fault. I wanted to protect him, and I wanted to give him an amazing life,"  said Griffin-Heady to FOX40.  Griffin-Heady never thought that would happen. Her brother had played with the dogs and even laid on the bed with them.  And so goes the story.  Pit Bull pet suddenly turned killer.
She discovered her brother unresponsive with significant wounds.  911 was called but Tyler was dead by the time he arrived at the hospital.  How  much more madness can be tolerated?
