Who said the world has no heroes anymore? Last week 72 year old Bill Barnes beat back a pick pocket. Today, tow military reservists tackled Steven Zegrean, 51, of Las Vegas, as he opened fire in a crowed casino. Zegrean is an unemployed house painter from Hungary. Zegrean was arrested for attempted murder, battery with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm in an occupied structure. The shooting caused pandemonium, said Jade Jacobson, 28, a tourist. Jacobson's cousin, a dance teacher from Pennsylvania, was wounded in the leg.
16 shots were fired in the 12:45 a.m. incident. Fortunately, all the injuries were minor. Zegrean fired multiple rounds from a semiautomatic handgun before he was tackled by a U.S. Army reservist, a Navy reservist and others who held him for police. The heroes have been identified as a North Dakota reservist named Lampert and a naval reservist named David James from Jacksonville Florida.

Thank God for real life heroes. This sounds like one more nut. I hate to see these incidents publicized it just gives more unstable people crazy ideas.
Shell
This dude was crazy. NO other word describes it.
I hope the reservists get a reward from the casino.
Thank goodness it was only domestic terrorism not international terrorism. Wait, what is the difference?
Good for these guys!
Glad you got the names of the heroes into the update.
Keep up the good work.
Heroes are what this world needs!
