Christine Levinson Searches High And Low For Her Missing Husband, Bob Levinson

When a wife is missing, too often the husband is the first suspect. When a husband is missing, the wife is often correctly portrayed as a heroine in search of her lost mate. Christine Levinson is an example of a devoted spouse. She has been searching for her husband, Bob, who disappeared last year in Iran. Bob Levinson disappeared in March of 2007 while on a business trip to Kish (an Iranian island.) Bob is a retired FBI agent. He worked as a consultant for private security after retirement. Christine's search has included asking the United Nations to help find her husband. Zalmay Khalilzad, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, wants to help, but not much useful aid occurred. Levinson and three of her adult children flew to New York to attempt to meet with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Ahmadinejad; however, was "unavailable." Zalmay Khalilzad, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, did take the time to meet with Christine.

A web site, http://www.helpboblevinson.com/ , has been set up to help find Bob. Christine has offered a $5,000 reward, for anyone who might have information about her husband. Christine has even traveled to Iran to retrace her husband's footsteps. Christine serves as an inspirational example of how a person should act when their spouse turns up "missing."

I have heard that this is story is going to be made into a movie. I hope there is a happy ending and two things happen:

1. Bob is found.

2. I get the role of Christine Levinson in the film.

Good luck Christine.

Heres the answer, although it is really a question:

Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we flipped through it several time a day?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to kids as gifts?

What if we used it when we traveled?

What if we used it in case of emergency?

This is something & nbsp;to make you go....hmm...where is my Bible?

Oh, and one more thing.
Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill.

Makes you stop and think 'where are my priorities? And no dropped calls!

Priority is to find Bob!

I hope he's found alive. I heard this story awhile ago on Greta... and there doesn't seem to be any trace of this man.

I'm just trying to figure out what this comparison even has to do with this story. This man disappeared while he was in a totally different country and his wife was not with him.

The high profile cases right now where the husband is the suspect is when he was also the last known person to see his wife alive.

Many women are considered suspects too when their husband goes missing. Just watch the TV show Snapped - it seems to focus on women that take revenge on their hubbies.

This is reality, not a t.v. show. Think about it, think about it. What better defense then having a spouse go missing then when you are in a separate country?!

Christine obviously loves her spouse, but how many women out there would pull a Casey Anthony and EVENTUALLY get around to reporting their husband missing. LOL

Jimbo - you misunderstood my point about the TV show snapped.

My point was that sometimes the wife does it too and when they are the last person to see their spouse alive they are considered a suspect just like a man is.

Thinkabout it, just givng you the perspective of a real prosecutor. When a woman is dead or missing, how can we tell the husband is lieing? Because his lips are moving!
