Drug enforcement may have a new weapon. A large black bear in Utah raided a clandestine marijuana growing operation. Not only did the bear disrupt operation, it also chased the grower away. Garfield County Sheriffs Department may have a new weapon in the fight to clean up neighborhoods around the country. "This bear is definitely law-enforcement minded," said Garfield County Sheriff Danny Perkins. The bear ripped apart food containers and cans and left teeth marks, claw marks and bear prints at the scene of the raid. Prior to the bear's raid, the Boulder Mountain operation included 4,000 "starter" sacks of pot and 888 young plants. The bear disrupted the operation so many times, it chased the marijuana farmers away.
Perhaps it is time to bring this tactic to our urban cities.
