Elder abuse may take many different forms. Consider Michael Alfinez. This 18 year-old has been sentenced to 18 months in juvenile detention for allegedly coaxing his 85 year-old grandmother into holding a gun and threatening to shoot "all the pigs" in a "gangster rap" video. Alfinez plead guilty too the charge of "elder abuse."
The 85-year-old grandmother held a handgun, wore a black mask and threatening to shoot "all the pigs" in the video. Alfinez was busted after police discovered the tape during a routine traffic stop. Alfinez and others shoot a pistol in the video which resulted in him pleading guilty to charges of firing out of a moving vehicle and into a building. Just what was this kid thinking?
