It's Back to School Time, Even in the Middle East ~by Legal Pub

As summer comes to a scorching end, our thoughts return to school days soon approaching. Teaching is a part of Middle Eastern agenda as well; however, the subjects differ. Reports out of Turkey show IS (Islamic State) trainers teaching children about beheadings.  After being shown videos, the school children get the opportunity to practice the technique by cutting the head off of dolls.  A 14 year old shared with the Associated Press, " they taught me how to hold the sword, and they told me how to hit. They told me it was the head of the infidels." 

Back to school for the extremists is an attempt to build a new generation of militants, according to the AP.  Gifts, threats and brainwashing seem to all be part of the curriculum.  Children can graduate to become kidnappers, killers and suicide bombers. An IS video demonstrated 25 children executing 25 captured Syrian soldiers.  By infusing children with extremist doctrine, IS is able to clone young minds into extreme fighters.  Using the caliphate, a historic form of Islamic rule that the vast majority of Muslims reject, IS is able to promote violence.  Calisthenics and jihad studies prepare the young children for "the coming days God Almighty can put them in the front lines to battle the infidels."   The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that there are at least 1,100 Syrian children who have joined IS this year. 52 were reportedly killed in fighting, including eight suicide bombers.   

What will European and Western Children learn this year?  While it may be anyone's guess, one sincerely doubts hatred and violence will be regular subjects.
