President Obama returns home, not to Chicago but to Kenya. Our President discussed corruption, gay rights and terrorism intermixed with fond memories of his family ties to the Kenya nation. "There are cousins and uncles and aunties that show up that you didn't know existed, but you're always happy to meet. There were lengthy explanations in some cases of the connections," described the President as he summarized his visit to the Eastern African nation.

Before the speech, some Kenyan politicians warned the President that overtures on gay rights would not be welcome in Kenya where gay sex can lend you up to 14 years in jail.  (Where it is probably easier for a gay person to get a date, right?)  Nevertheless, our President lecture on gay rights and freedom despite a handful of protesters.
