"I love Legal Pub, but cover more news about brothers." Quite frankly, Legal Pub tries to avoid the whole "inbred" scene, if that is what you are referring too. If it is referring to "Band of Brothers" well, there are simply only so many movies that we can review. If it is one of our siblings, sorry, but immediate families are typically exempt from coverage. On the off chance it refers to the music industry, here goes:
Clifford Harris, the famous rapper known as T.I. appears today in federal court for sentencing on weapons charges. (T.I. allegedly got caught buying machine guns and silencers.)
Harris as already mentored some at-risk students as part of his community service. He is expected to receive a one year prison sentence, pay $100,000 in fines and comply with all the terms of his plea agreement. He will not actually spend any time in prison provided that he complete 1000 hours of community service.
Harris recently released his CD, "Paper Trail," which has sold close to 2 million copies. Harris has also appeared in the movie "ATL" and in some Chevy commercials. Harris gun bust happened in October 2007 in Atlanta. At the time he was prohibited from gun ownership because of a 1998 felony drug conviction involving possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute.

Harris' attorneys presented more than 100 letters thanking him for his community service. Georgia Supreme Court Chief Justice Leah Ward Sears, wrote that Harris did an "outstanding job" talking to a group of teenagers about not breaking the law. Perhaps true reform is possible. Good luck to T.I. and his new album.

Thanks. Diversity is a good thing.
T.I. appears to be a success story involving reform. All we hear about is repeat cons. Good to see that not everyone is destroyed by the cycle of repeat crime.
T.I. is "it!" Thanks for the read
I thought Bernie Madoff was gonna release "paper trail"?
Yeah, TI appears to have really taken responsibility for his actions and is showing signs of true reform. I'm praying that it is a long lasting and an influential one (for his fans).
Taking responsibility is a good first start and a good example.
Prepare Ye the way of the Lord!

Amen on diversity :)
I was shocked to see this TI story.
I have mixed feelings about him not doing time. Not that I want to see another "brother" in jail....I just think its sending the wrong message to let him off in favor of 1000 hours of community service.
I hope he learned his lesson!!
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm buying guns and silencers. I thought the old T.I. was "dead and gone"
Brookie babie, he is a reformed guy.
