About 30 members of a Russian doomsday sect have barricaded themselves in a cave to await the end of the world. They are all Christians and are threatening to commit suicide if police intervene. "They are simple Christians... They say the Church is doing a bad job and the end of the world is coming soon," said a local priest, Father Georgy, to a NTV television station.
Perhaps in related news, a new and virulent strain of adenovirus, which causes the common cold, has apparently muted and spread in parts of the United States. As a result of the virus mutation, 10 people have died and dozens have been hospitalized according to U.S. health officials. U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports provide details of several cases
in New York, Oregon, Washington state and Texas.

One can only wonder. I saw today that the U.S. Army is bringing back the old cold vaccines. Could be there is something to this one.
