Setting Shifts to Bahamas

The wind is warm and fresh. The water is true blue. You can actually clearly see the sand squish between your toes as you wade out into the water.

For those of us in the Pub the setting is still here in the midwest. But the Anna Nicole Smith Paternity matter has shifted to the Bahamas.

Howard Stern likely wins the sweepstakes. Here's why:

1. Howard's name is on the birth certificate as the father.

2. As I understand it, under Bahama law, the father on the birth certificate is presumed to be the father.

3. It is unlikely that the Bahama court will require a blood test.

4. No blood test means Birkhead will not be able to prove he is the paternal father of the baby.

So now the Judge Rules that the Guardian ad litem will get the body. Now that would be a great job only if Anna Nicole was still alive! Seeing that she is dead, the Guardian ad litem sitting in the Bahamma sun with a bahamma momma is not all that appealing when she is a corpse.

Nine Hours Stuck on the Run Way! I am pro defense in most views. But come on! Nine hours stuck in a plane on the runway. The passengers need to sue. Congress needs to create an airline passengers bill of rights. Any delay over 2 hours and they have to take you back to the terminal. Write your congressman.

Looking for Potential Fathers

My gosh! Anna Nicole must have been pretty busy. Did she even know who the father of her child was at the time of her death. Seems to me the attorney may have crossed the line if he turns out to be the father. Why is this so important? The father of the child will inherit millions. Seems to me that the California judge is enjoying his 15 minutes of fame. Paternity in a hile profile case like this could be determined real quick to rule out the potential litigants with a blood test and a mouth swab. Why the delay? Is it all about becoming famous for 15 minutes?
