Dylan Redwine Missing?

Missing children seldom lead to good news. The New Mexico State Police Dive Team spent Sunday searching for Dylan Redwine, 13, near the dam at Vallecito Reservoir.  The 13 year-old was first reported missing from his father’s home in Vallecito, Colo. on Nov. 19.  Divers searched an area targeted by trained cadaver dogs.  Dogs repeatedly “hit” on several spots near the dam while aboard watercraft, according to the Durango Herald. However, no body was found. Dylan disappeared last week from his father’s home in Vallecito, Colo., during a one-day court ordered visit. Mark Redwine, Dylan's father, told police that his son was in his house when he left to run some errands at 7:30 a.m. When Mark returned four hours later, the boy was missing according to ABC News.

Dylan normally lives with his mother in Colorado Springs.  He is described as 5 feet tall, 105 pounds, with blond hair, blue eyes and fair complexion. When he was last seen, Dylan was wearing a blue-and-white Duke Blue Devils baseball cap, black Nike T-shirt and black Jordan tennis shoes. Investigators are hoping to speak with two boys who were seen by a postal worker on Nov. 19 at the Vallecito Lake Country Market. The postal worker told police that one of the boys looked like Dylan.  La Plata County Sheriff's Office is considering various scenarios, including whether he might have run away or been abducted.

Update 2-119-13: Separating fact from fiction is always the hardest part of these posts. Facts: the teenager disappeared durign a court-ordered Thanksgiving week visit with his father, Mark Redwine.  Dylan  vanished from his father's Vallecito home on Nov. 19. The rest remains a mystery despite a recent tip from someone who remembered seeing a Hispanic man in the north end of Vallecito the day Dylan was reported missing. The 45 to 50 year old man asked where he could buy gas for his vehicle. The man is not a suspect nor a person of interest.  However, he may have seen Dylan or have information about Dylan.

The authorities believe Dylan did not run away. But no one has publicly revealed the reasoning behind this assumption. The reward for information concerning Dylan is reportedly $50,000. Anyone with information concerning  Dylan's whereabouts is encouraged to call La Plata County Sheriff’s Office Investigators Dan Patterson 970-382-7015 or Tom Cowing 970-382-7045. The local tip line is 970-382-7511.

People better not rush to conclusions and blame the Dad. This could unjustly set back father rights all over the country.

Nothing implicates the Dad at this point!

(Dylan disappeared last week from his father’s home in Vallecito, Colo., during a one-day court ordered visit.)
The father said he left to run errands in the morning, “for four hours”, and the boy was gone when he returned. Apparently Dylan lived 6hrs away with his mother, I would think the father would have planned the errands for another day with this visit being so important and the time traveled to make it possible.

I say, Dylan wished to live with his dad so they created this masquerade to evade the courts custody decision…not expecting it to gain national attention. Dylan himself could have spoken up to change the custody arrangements, but that would have required more court decision. Maybe they did not trust the system or finances could have been a problem.

If I’m right the investigators will find evidence of Dylan wanting to spend more time with his dad prior to this event. They are probably watching the Dad’s side of the family right now…and his friends.

I don't believe dylan ever made it to his fathers home. I do believe that (1) parent made a bet, agreement, or some sort of deal years ago maybe before Dylan was born thinking little of it. This parent had under-estimated the power, abilities, and the seriousness of what they were agreeing upon and who it was with. As they didn't think anything would ever become of it. Until now as there was a one way air fare purchased for Dylan to go see his father.....if so and the mother Elaine was not comfortable sending him there on any occasion court ordered or not why did she send him this time. Why at first did she say "I think my ex-husband is capable of doing such a thing" on the Nancy Grace show (not sure her exact words but she was against her ex and shining the light at him) Then later on her whole attitude changed as if she was partially backing him. She knew of this and had no control over stopping it. There is a pattern with some of these missing people as it hits the news and the media and the stories get a little sketchy and Nancy Grace, Dr. Phil, and all these media people come into play it's all part of a procedure to cover the tracks knowing full well who has them and you can't go against them specially when the authorities won't even touch it. I've talked and tried to help until certain people got a visit and then my last comment from a family member i was working with to help sent me a message saying i just don't know how to get him safely. What the hell is that supposed to mean obviously they are seeing more than what others will allow the public to see and what I had already seen and tried to tell others about as they shut me down right quick. Nancy Grace, Dr. Phil, John Walsh, the news channels down in colorado and everywhere no one is willing to take it further to the next level they all sit on the plank they dangle from like puppets and do exactly what they are told or else they to will be poof gone missing.
