Charlie Sheen Is Certainly Not Dysfunctional!

If America loves a bad boy, then Charlie Sheen is a shoe in for President. Charlie's hotel room gets torn up. Charlie's $150,000 watch goes missing. But, it's all good. The "Two and a Half Men" actor isn't concerned. Sheen's New York hotel . "If a guy has one bad night, everybody goes insane and panics," Sheen told Extra.

Sheen rationalizes the missing watch by saying, "The way I look at it -- if you have expensive tastes, you gotta be prepared for expensive losses." Sheen just finished a show and seems to be functioning at his normal level. Work. His attorney indicates that Sheen broke no laws in the hotel incident. He echos Sheen's claim that all is well in Tinsel Town. As for his personal life, Brooke Mueller will soon be Charlie's third ex-wife. The parites have been separated since the knife incident in Colorado last Christmas. Sheen has filed for
divorce and requested joint custody of the couple’s twin boys.

Sheen and Mueller married in 2008. Both have apparently sought rehab during the past year. Sheen has enjoyed full custody of his 19-month-old sons. Mueller has asked for sole physical custody of the boys along with spousal support. A property separation agreement was entered into in May of 2010. Reportedly Mueller will recieve a lump sum payment of close to a million dollars. Sheen may be required to pay Mueller 55,000 dollars a month in child support.

Yet, all is fine...

Am I the only one who is starting to think that Charlie is a natural for Washington D.C.?
Update 1-19-11: Charlie Sheen got into trouble at least once before with his wife: LINK. But things never stay the same. While he broke up with his wife, now it looks like deja vu is about to strike. This illustrates all that is wrong with how we put celebrities up on a pedestal.

If anyone else tore up a hotel room, heads would role.

The Rolling Stones and other rock bands have been tearing up Hotels for years, hardly a mention of this back in the day…all settled upon check-out.

If Charlie was a politician I doubt we hear much more than a brief report in a local paper and than it would be dropped after he settled with the Hotel…and probably at the taxpayers expense since the Hotel visit would have been written of as Government business, including the hooker.

If the MSM spent half of the airtime on Political wasteful spending and corruption as they do portraying celebrities and their antics as actual news stories, we’d see tangible accountability of our elected officials.

When they speak about creating jobs to stabilize our economy the MSM never mentions the fact that the NAFTA agreement is a major reason to massive outsourcing and job-loss, it is a total failure to the working class and our economy.

The working class IS the economy!

Instead all we hear is Charlie Sheen, Lindsey Lowhan, Paris Hilton…bla, bla, bla. Who the hell cares what they do, Keith Richards has consumed every drug on this planet to excess and still survived, and has harmed no one. But when an insurance Corp can murder a child with the stroke of a pen by denying life saving care because of some obscure clause in a contract…that is criminal, and a story I’d like to hear about again and again.

But the chicken-shit MSM would rather follow around celebrities than report on the massive corruption in our corporate controlled Government, and hold their feet to the fire.

Distraction! That is all these stories are.

True video guy, but celebs are better looking and thus better media than politicians.

(True video guy, but celebs are better looking and thus better media than politicians.)

I think you are making a terrible assumption as to the intelligence of the American People, for years they have watched what was presented to them by the networks knowing there was much more to the story, as to why CNN was such a success when Ted Turner owned and presented this format. Now that CNN has been bought out and turned into just another sensational tabloid propaganda TV program, masquerading as news… just like FOX. The people have turned to the Internet for information, and a contributing factor to its unbelievable success. Many blogs have the best news stories long before the MSM, and in some cases forcing the MSM to report on them.

As Thomas Jefferson once said;
“We have given you a Republic and a great form of government, but every two hundred years or so there has to be a knock-down, dragged out, brutal, bloody revolution to take the power back from the psychopathic, corrupt, power hungry tyrants, who have plagued all great civilizations throughout history, to bring the power back to the people.”

...or something to that effect.

Vido Dude: No doubt I trust Legal Pub for updated stories. So often I read family members of the defendant or families of the victim give great insight into what really happened.

I especially love it when Shell gives us Hollywood insight.

You are right about mainstream media. But I do sometimes like the "distraction" stories.

But guys... He's Charlie!

Hey, ol Charlie was hammered and the hooker stole his watch, hookers steal stuff. So he tossed the room to try and intimidate her…end of story. What else do you actually need to know about this? The MSM had the right to report this but to dedicate 100hrs of air time is foolish.
I was watching CNN yesterday and they spent all day reporting on a vapor trail left by an airplane, trying to make it into something it was not…an important news story!

They should report on how NAFTA has caused outsourcing, and how higher tariffs would create more jobs and give American workers (who are the economy) a fair shake. Or investing into out infrastructure would create even more jobs and is good for everyone…except the mega-rich who fly over our dilapidated bridges and roads in their privet jets, and live in Dubai most of the year.

BTW, I do like this legalpub blog and the story’s he brings to light, and even the Charlie Sheen cluster fu*k was worth a post. It did give me the chance to vent my opinion as to how our news organizations waste time on such stories with over coverage when there are more important issues on the table that need coverage.

My comments were in no way a criticism of this blog and I hope no one took them as such.

I always figured Charlie tore up the room looking for the watch. Could be he did it to intimidate. Seems the Colorodo incident was an intent to scare his wife, in my view.

I agree this sh*t should not be news, but it is entertaining.

On Saturday night, Sheen revealed that he was down to just one "goddess," because Bree Olson left him. Does this mean Charlie is losing his touch?
