Mejia, 29, and Castillo, 57, are believed to have been killed by the same killer on the same date two years apart. Forensic evidence is believed to link the killings. Both women were Hispanic. The killer is believe to be a Hispanic male in his late teens or early 20s. He is described as 5'3"to 5'5" and weighing between 135 and 150 pounds. He apparently has short black hair.
