"We need a spicy scoop," the editor said. "Why me?" I responded. "Because Hollywood is where it is at, Shell, baby."
Okay, so here goes my limited scoop: David Duchovny is best known for the x-files. But for those with Showtime, you may recognize him as the star of a series called "Californication." This is a show in which he plays a sex-obsessed man. The show has earned Emmy nomination for casting and cinematography. Ironically, David Duchovny has apparently voluntarily entered a rehabilitation facility for sex addiction.
David's publicist, Flo Grace, has apparently confirmed the rehab report. At 48, with successful treatment, David can look forward to a long happy "sexless" life. I can only imagine that such successful treatment is the goal of his wife Tea Leoni.
On another note, Tom Cruise and United Artists have been sued for several million dollars because of injuries to 12 extras which happened because of a panel malfunction on a WW II type of vehicle. The movie is about Hitler, and Cruise may take a personal hit if the law suit is successful.
That's all the scoop I have, Mr. Editor. If sex and injury don't sell, nothing will!

Another sex less marriage? Must be a woman therapist too!
Does Cruise play Hitler? He acts like Hitler when he tries to control his wife and when he tries to force Scientology.
Sex sells.. why chang David Duchovny? He is a stud!

Tom Cruise is named in a $250 million federal lawsuit claiming a RICO statute cause of action against the Church of Scientology. Ex-Scientologist Peter Letterese filed suit in Southern District Court in Florida on July 15 alleging, among other things, that members of the church harassed him after he left.
Tom Cruise's film Valkyrie needs to be livened up by the law suits! Tom Cruise's WW2 film Valkyrie is boring!
Cruise had taken a day off when the accident occurred and was not on set.
A group of extras were wounded when the side panel of a Nazi-era truck failed during filming in Berlin last year.
The injured extras are suing production company United Studios and Cruise. The lawsuit could further delay the project. The extras got hurt when they fell out of the side of the truck.
Injuries varied from bumps and bruises to broken ribs and pulled ligaments.
One person was hospitalized for four days.
The movie features Cruise as Claus von Stauffenberg, leader of a failed July 20, 1944 plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler.
Claus von Stauffenberg planted a suitcase bomb that only broke Hitler's arm when it detonated.
Before the accident, United Studios stirred up controversy by asking for permission to hang swastika banners in areas of the city during filming.
Displaying the symbol is illegal in Germany, but Cruise's film got the go-ahead.
Supposedly secret screen tests showed that audiences thought the movie was boring. In my opinion, Tom Cruise is a bore...

Funny, when us regular gals have husbands that cheat we seem to have two choices. We can either suck it up and forgive the dude or we can dump him. In Hollywood, they've come up with a third alternative it seems ~ sex addiction rehab! That hot!
It doesn't sound like Tom Cruise is very well liked in Hollywood ... I get the impression he just might be a bit of a control freak ... but then, who knows? I just get the feeling his acting career has been stagnant for a while ...
Shell,
you're on a roll, another good post!
Sex, marriage. Are not the two words antonyms?
Seems to me he was just role playing to get better in playing his part...
