Wedding Crasher, Kimberly Cooper apparently can also be a lot of fun but she is not a red head. Kim is a good looking brunette with apparently some questionable morals. Kim Cooper and her daughter, not only crashed Charles Daugherty and Sciara Daugherty's wedding, Kim also apparently made off with their basket of gift cards. The Idaho couple's wedding reception was video taped and the uninvited guest's presence well documented. Police were also able to secure video from the merchants where she attempted to cash the gift cards.
While she may not be a red head, Legal Pub bets that she remains fun at parties and receptions- just keep her away from the gifts.

Thanks to poster FRATBOY, VIKING and LocalNews8-Idaho, we know Kim Cooper spent six months in jail for doing the same thing at the Nowlin Wedding in Jackson, Wyoming. Regina and Buddy Nowlin recognized Cooper because she stole hundreds of dollars worth of gifts from their wedding. Cooper apparently also forged checks at Smith's, a store where both Regina and Cooper worked. Cooper was charged with forgery and petty larceny and spent six months in jail. She repaid the Nowlins nearly $500. Charges are also pending against Cooper in Jefferson County for allegedly crashing another wedding.
Update 11-6: You can take away the "alleged." Kim Cooper has plead guilty to burglary concerning the Daugherty wedding.

Is anyone else bothered by this? Was this life imitating art? In the Wedding Crashers movie, it encouraged people to break the law. It is a small step from crashing to stealing in my view as "eating food and drinking" when uninvited is in fact stealing. So if you do that, why not grab the gift cards too...

As far as anonymous #2 she doesn't deserve a break, she was a Pocatello resident before with quite a record before changing her name and moving north. Also a child died in her care at her illegal day care. By the way does anyone know what happened to her older daughter? Probably taken away and has been thrown in foster care. And she did this twice not just the one everyone is talking about. She doesn't deserve anymore breaks she deserves to have the book thrown at her. By the way Bob she doesn't have a twin sister.

ReplyDeleteThe one couple said that her son was invited to a birthday party at their house. They ended up keeping her son and daughter overnight because she left and they couldn't get ahold of her. When I was with her she had 2 daughters and a son. The 12 y/o was the younger daughter, her sister I believe was 2 or 3 years older than her, and her son was 2. This was in early 2001. In the video that shows her in court her younger daughter is there as well as a little boy that looks about 1. So from everything that I read I can only assume that 2 of her kids don't live with her.

On April 25, 2007, Cooper appeared in Judge Mark Riddoch's courtroom for sentencing after the Bonneville County prosecutor agreed to a guilty plea of serious charge of injury to a child. Marty Anderson, Kristi Schneider's attorney indicates that Kristi Schneider was allowed to speak at Cooper's sentencing about her child's death.
Judge Mark Riddoch gave her 60 days in jail and ordered her to not watch any children in her home for two years. Cooper went to jail but her attorney filed an appeal stating it was prosecutorial misconduct to allow Jayden's mother to testify because she had nothing to do with the injury to a child involved in the burn case.
Judge Gregory Anderson ordered Cooper out of jail only 12 days into her 60-day sentence. So for now, Cooper can continue watching children until further order of the court.
Apparently Viking only knew about her time in Idaho, but it looks like she was busted for the same thing in Jackson Wyoming back in 2003. She looks pretty remorseful in the mugshot.

It seems that all kind of went downhill for Kimberly after that. It is truely a shame that she chose the dope over love. Up until I saw all of this media regarding her actions (disgracefull), I had been under the impression that it was MY loss... Now I know better!!!

ReplyDeleteI too, know Kimberly, and she is costic (also really fat). The court system has failed the public by allowing her to go free. Her oldest daughter is on felony probation for grand theft auto (at 17?) Kim has 5 children from 4 fathers and wants more!! She lives off the system, God and neighbors raise her kids, she gets free housing, and food stamps, and public defendors. This is our tax money at work!!! She truly believes she is untouchable and in all honesty she is. Oh and the man she is "married" to Kirk Cooper, they really aren't, they bought their marriage license in Wyoming but married in Idaho, therefore the state of Idaho doesn't recognize them as being legally married. So I guess that means Cooper is an alias!!!
